Cellebrating 10 years of Technology at UAB

The Chair UAB-Cruïlla in Artificial Intelligence in the field of Music and the Arts supports the #MEMEnginy24 event to promote innovation in technology and engineering.

#MEMEnginy24, with the aim of connecting all the young talent in the ICT and engineering fields of the UAB with the world of work, is a Fair that has been transformed as technology and the labor market In the tenth edition, the areas present will be the Internet of things (IoT), green tech, artificial intelligence or data management, areas with a growing demand for professionals. The participation of the Chair UAB-Cruïlla highlights the commitment to the promotion of education and research in areas that cross the boundaries between technology, humanities and social sciences.

“#MEMEnginy24 is a very relevant component in the work plan of the Chair, as it will allow contact with the business ecosystem and facilitate the start-up of ‘actions of innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration, where AI will be a key ingredient. This first year of the Chair’s activity is an excellent opportunity for students to learn about the challenges of the business ecosystem around artistic events. The main objective is to transfer the School’s talent to the sector so that students can apply their knowledge in real environments through research work and employment contracts.”
